I dont know if you guys shop at Petco or if you know but they are selling tanks and a lot of fish stuff for 50% off they have 40 breeders for 60 bucks

IIRC they run the 50% off sale every one or two months.
They had a glitch on Sunday where 2.5-gallons were $3, 5.5-gallons were $4, and all 20-gallons were $11. Lasted for hours, and all the stores near me sold out before I could get my hands on a few- which was a real pity, as I had wanted more smaller tanks for rearing fry.
I have been told that Petco is trying to phase out Aqueon products for their Imagitarium brand-based products, but I have no idea how true that is.
All I know is that if they stop selling cheap Aqueon tanks, I have no further need to shop at that store.

I'm done with Petco i will never spend $$$ there again not even for 25 cent suction cup
I could care less where they are made but given how poor the silicon was on the aqueon aquariums i want to know if the imagitarum are better made. there were two issues - one was the actual application of the silicon but the other is the silicon they used on smaller tanks (29 gallon and smaller) seems to disintergrate after 5 to 8 years.
IME with the Aqueon tanks the problem was with the center brace but still i cant imagine Imagitarium being better then Aqueon
