I hear ya Ryan, but why are they banned in WA? I know they’re a protected species but they’re bred in captivity by a commercial breeder, and they’re not an apex predator that will annihilate local species…
Well there’s no suppliers locally I know and the ones over east say cannot sent to WA along with all invertebrates.
I obviously don’t know the right people. If I have too I’ll fly over to Sydney and drive back lol. I’m starting to get my next 3000lt tank planned and scoping manufacturers in Guangzhou next month.

If you’ve never made the drive, crossing the Nullarbor is a mix of interesting & boring. Some super long stretches of straight hwy. I’ve made the drive from Perth to Adelaide and back a couple of times. September is a great time to cross the outback. Not too hot yet and the spring rains bring a burst of life that makes it really stunning. And if your coming back with a prized wet pet that’d be a good motivation for sure
I’ve driven a few times but not for 15 years. I’m not sure on the dimensions hence the sussing out the manufacturer recommended size that can be shipped. I’ll need to build a reinforced concrete plinth under it because the only area I have for it is not supported by slab at homeCool mate. Thats about 700 USG right?
