Will get a good picture on him tonight.

Had a small incident during training for prepared foods with tinfoil barbs where he took a tinfoil barbs eye out, but in all honesty, I expected him to kill one or two. Other than that, he's been doing great. My first tigerfish and I absolutely love it! Currently with 4 tinfoil barbs and a flagtail prochilodus

Woops. Late again

Here is the update:

Turning into a monster. Tearing up barbs and sawed off the top of the flagtails fins. Overall, minor damage but significantly more confident, and it grows by the day.

Yellow tips on fins now? Bright red on the tail but only one lobe.

Bulkier.

Pellet training a failure so far but eats anything frozen. Haven't been super invested in pellet training though. I throw in pellets, if it doesn't eat them, whatever and it will have to wait until I feel like thawing something.

It's like keeping a raptor from Jurassic Park? Very calculated fish, and measures it's moves carefully, but is capable of some pretty incredible things. Kind of want to get more ...

Looks like VATF to me! You said 8"? He's bigger than my guy ! You can see how my Tanz looks as a comparison

I'd say mine is 6-8". Hard to say with him moving but I'd say probably closer to 6" on mine, maybe 7?

I would like to get a few other sp. of tigers though. No idea who has anything other than fatf, Goliath or more vatf. Really want a batf

I'm actually one of the few who kept almost all species besides stout VATF. You got an insta?
