Really good to hear. I hope I've been doing right by this guy. Originally bought as a FATF, which seemed like the best choice for a reasonable fish, but been learning as I go with this guy including that he isn't even what he was bought as

Trying to get him a varied diet, and I keep him really warm with lots of good current/oxygen going into that tank. K1 sump, lots of surface agitation and an air stone in his tank

Currently in a DIY rack build in a 48"×18" tank. Total volume is 600g+ with a 100gpd drip. I've tried giving him bigger but he becomes skittish so he is staying in a small tank for awhile until he will feel comfortable in a bigger environment.

Anything frozen/raw. Tilapia, swai, bloodworms, shrimp, silverside, squid, etc.

if you want good shape and bulk like my Tanz i mainly focused on tilapia but not cut up pieces....i do long slabs and measure out to see how much he eats at once depending on growth so he is fully stuffed.

wow you have spoilt him. sounds like a great set up
I moved my old one into a 9'x3'x2.5 tank and he loved it they are so cool when they dart around at breakneck speed for food
