It is not xanthic. NTT can fade out to almost translucent. In your blue tank, he might not know what colour to go. A bit of driftwood may help.

Doesn’t look like a fade out, it’s missing some black pigments.

Whether it loses out all the black or stay like this, it’s still unique.

It is not missing pigment. That is how they fade out.

It is a nice looking NTT.
