Gents, did some reading d silver dollars have powerful jaws they're cousins of the pacu n piranha only they're not aggressive but I must commend the sera o nip stick on tabs ! I mean just look at how they chomp on d tabs but they still can't rip it off ! This is why I use sera o nips instead of d rest a great way to give everyone a decent chance to eat otherwise the filament barbs are just too fast !

I like them too but I found them too messy as they break apart into fine particles. Glad it’s working for you
Hi bud I'm sure they do although it's not noticeable do you think it's a problem with a sand substrate ? I do a suction job Abt every 4 or 5 days been thinking Abt keeping some bottom dwelling clean up crew d corys don't chance with d barbs thinking of adding some kuhli loches will they get a fair share of the fine particles left behind ?

Gents just fed my fish I must say I won't be able to do without these stick on tabs especially for my 3 stripe sds if u know Abt filament youll know what I'm talking Abt ! they don give any chance for others to eat they're that fast n greedy !
Yes it's kind of messy me tank isn't too large a (4footer 95gal)but if I want to give mey sds a chance to eat well it's these stick on tabs I'll try the JBL ones again previously they just didn't stick as well as the sera ones also wanna try d vitalis ones(if I can get them)
For me it's. Crucial that d sds eat proper as theyve grown had them for over a year n can clearly see their growth they're such a pretty fish I've got three and my tank is up to capacity running two large canisters n one sponge but I'll try to be on top of my water change/maintenance etc (as I've always been) I've only got one tank it's this 4 footer n the next review I'll be doing is entitled ' is the 4 footer the optimum fish tank size?' I think it is especially if you're a one tank guy I live in an apartment so a four 4 footer seems to best balance between size n enjoyment n what's it like to make an effort to grow out fish(I've had these filament barbs for 4.5 yrs n people say they're huge !) n time spent on fish tank I've had mine for 16 yrs so i hope to share what's it like to have a four footer !
Cheers
