Protection for floor under wood stand

Hi all I am making an upgrade for my tank size as my Arowana are outgrowing their tank. The stand is 10’x2’ I’ve always used a tarp under the tank, but I’ve been told recently that it is not the best practice. That being said what would you put under a tank that large to protect the floor and stand

Tile is pretty water resistant as is. Maybe focus on making the tank splash proof

I put two layers of rubber under my tanks. The bottom layer is solid rubber, and the top layer is foam rubber. Seems to spread the load well.
