Most likely a hybrid. The body shape indicates Dimidiochromis compressiceps, but the complete blue forehead and the short face do not match.
You may be right. The shop owner said something about compress but i couldnt understand him.

Are these fish usually blue while juvenile or do they turn blue as they get older? Beautiful fish! im in love

I'm not sure if its a Dimidiochromis strigatus or a Dimidiochromis compressiceps hybrid or Dimidiochromis strigatus hybrid.
Definitely not a pure strigatus. Dimidiochromis compressiceps and strigatus both have a blue face with greyish forehead. The fish in the picture has a completely blue head.

They are grey/silver as juvenile and turn blue with age. Their rank in the tank's pecking order can also play a role in how much blue they show.

100% agree. There’s also not enough lateral compression for it to be a dimi comp x dimi string. The head looks more fryeri or perhaps protomelas. The picture angle doesn’t help much. A full lateral shot with the blue lights off would help, but at the end of the day, it is definitely a hybrid and your guess as to, which is as good as mine 🤷🏻‍♂️

That is not your fish though. Yours has a white tip on its dorsal blaze. It’s definitely a hybrid dimidichromis species with another species that has a white blaze, like fryeri or some other species.
Can you post a full lateral view shot of yours instead of a stock pic off the web? That exact image is used by a b’zillion online stores…

It was believed that dimi-comps hit the eyes out of their prey. A belief that has never been witnessed or proven 🤙🏼
