You may be right. The shop owner said something about compress but i couldnt understand him. Most likely a hybrid. The body shape indicates Dimidiochromis compressiceps, but the complete blue forehead and the short face do not match.
Definitely not a pure strigatus. Dimidiochromis compressiceps and strigatus both have a blue face with greyish forehead. The fish in the picture has a completely blue head.I'm not sure if its a Dimidiochromis strigatus or a Dimidiochromis compressiceps hybrid or Dimidiochromis strigatus hybrid.

Are these fish usually blue while juvenile or do they turn blue as they get older? Beautiful fish! im in love
100% agree. There’s also not enough lateral compression for it to be a dimi comp x dimi string. The head looks more fryeri or perhaps protomelas. The picture angle doesn’t help much. A full lateral shot with the blue lights off would help, but at the end of the day, it is definitely a hybrid and your guess as to, which is as good as mineMost likely a hybrid.
