as of rn theres no improvement in swimming capabilities and it's laying on its side all the time. However, its eating at very least when i drop pellets in front of its face. it would move a bit like a halibut and take pellets. few days ago i fed live fish and it was able to eat as well when the goldfish comes in attack range. color looks normal and aside from not being able to swim and crippled it aint too bad as of rn
Sucks to hear it’s laying on its side. A friend’s peacock bass hit its head getting spooked and was the same way…laid on the floor and only scooted around in spurts or to eat. Sorry to say, it didn’t get better. Hope yours does

It actually lived a long while that way and probably could have kept going but my friend felt its quality of life wasn’t good and euthanized it with clove oil. Also, I thought it hit its head but my buddy said it actually got rammed on the side by a larger bass and thinks it might have gotten its air bladder popped. He said he tried epsom salt and just waited it out but it never got better. Maybe you might want to wait it out like
danotaylor suggested and see if it gets better
