Arowana PH level at 8.2.. how bad is that?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Use ketapang leaves to lower the ph naturally and savely. Overall try to keep your ph not above 7.5 IMO.

Sorry to bring this back alive but I’m having an issue at the moment not with my PH as the last time I tested it , it was reaching 8 and my blue base gold is fine it’s my GH that’s absolutely killing my equipment. The fish is fine but my filters are limescale riddled and the cleaning maintenance of them is killing me. I have researched RO systems and it won’t suit my home, I can’t collect rain water and I’m not really one for having tannins in my tank making it look brownish. Having said that any other known ways to lower my general hardness ( my tap water is hard so I’m stuck )

following with interest, our water leaves lime scale like crazy also.
