I have a 300 gallon with a 12" amaira, 12" mala ,10" redtail gourami, 14" ornate birchir and a 10" red pike. They've been together almost 2 years no aggression no fin nipping whatsoever. In a 75 grow out i have a 5-6" black wolf that's finally starting to accept tilapia but showing no interest in pellets yet. Would it be risky to add the black wolf to the 300 where all those fish are eating tilapia and pellets.

There's a distinct difference between predation and aggression; wolf fish and pike cichlids are known for both. So, introducing a new fish to that mix....one that is about half the length of the three potential problem children you already have...is of course risky, on both of those fronts. Even the Gourami can be a problem; they're known to vary widely in their levels of aggression. There is also the secondary risk that any changes to the status quo may change the overall dynamic of the community, resulting in other compatibility problems where none existed before.
