In your experience what is the most experience Thorichthys species? Are there any Thorichthys that do well in a community setting? Hopefully this will be my last question about this genus.

I consider any of the Thorichthys to all be relatively peaceful, but that said...
they need to be kept in at least a 6 ft tank, in a shoal of at least 6, without any other cichlids in the tank.
Dither fish species, such as Astyanax tetras, or appropriately sized live bearers can work wonders keeping them distracted.
I kept them with, Xiphorus mayae, but remove gravid females to the sump, to have a continuous repopulation, as the older weaker individuals would become feable , age out, and get eaten.

I had 10 firemouth in a 6ft 125. There was some Honduran redpoints in as well. Neither bothered the other.
The male firemouth each claimed an area and the females traveled around in a group inspecting each males area.
There was tetras and swordtails and a bushynose pleco with them as well. 20190717_140546.jpg 20190614_170436.jpg20190621_213209.jpg20190621_213203.jpg20190613_092327.jpg

There bark is a lot worse than the bite. They never got into any real fights that I saw. Just gill flaring and back and forth pushing.
