Hello; The off-topic thread is paused so we may reflect on the death of VA nurse Alex Pretti and consider parents lost their son, a sister lost her brother, friends lost their friend, a human life was lost and families mourn.

In that spirit above is a list of other lost Americans who were also sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, mothers, grandmothers and friends. Human lives lost with families & friends who mourn. I list from the years 2025 & 2026. There is included in this list a policeman left paralyzed. Details in the link if any are so inclined.

Well, I thought the Off-Topic thread being muted would make for a nice lull in the politics-talk... but I suppose not.
Seems like a one-way ticket for more trouble or drama, regardless of where anyone stands.
There's Facebook for that; not quite sure a slowly-dying fish-forum's a solid place.
I was once told, "The fastest way to come to blows with another man is to sleep with his wife; the second is to bring up politics." I do wonder how fast things will head in that direction.
