Xingu 1 orange pike in black water

Is it ok to keep an Orange pike in black water? I just recently read that they inhabit white waters.. also what other fish live in the xingu 1 I will be trying to recreate a biotope

Depends on what you understand as black water. Just soft water with tannins? Than yes.

Or true black water with a TDS close to zero and a pH of 4 or below? Maybe for a while, but not long-term.
