Red tail gram help

I was given a red tail to grow out for my indoor pond. He's currently in my quarantine tank.. he has this thing hanging from his eye maybe a parasite? Wonder if anyone can kinda tell what it is so I know how I could go about treating this

Not sure what to make of it. Hard to make out if it’s a body fluke or extra tissue. Can try a round of prazipro or a salt bath.

Yeah, upon closer look, under his mouth is red. It looks like whatever that he was in maybe something went after him and caught some "skin" under his eye and under his mouth. It almost looks like lose piece is scale/skin

As long as it’s acting normal and eating. Maybe watch and leave alone for now.

Ok, I have prazi pro. I could dose if need be. To be on the safe side but he is swimming around and eating like normal
