It's rare I come on here an see something I don't recognise, I was confused then thinking that's not a bay snook lol...
Googled em now, nice fish.

I hope mine is the same. Was it a lazy eater or did it feed like the cichla? I was surprised to see my bass chasing him a bit. Then I fed them and they stopped.

I was just messing with you. I actually have a little salt in this setup ;). The bass and ray don't seem to mind. I actually think their appearance has brightened up and the ray seems to be as happy as a clam.

It's actually a common or a black. It was collected from Suriname on the Atlantic side so I'm going to say it's a common snook. Sword spines have a shorter body length and the spike expends past the flank and passes were the tail starts. They also have other distinguishing characteristics.
