Food for Midas cichlid

Hi everyone- do you ever used those kind foods to feed your fish

My Midas doesn’t give too hoots for that rubbish or he’s got to dam fussy. Mine has his own dog bowl and doesn’t eat anything that isn’t in his bowl!!!

Here is mine with his food bowl. Fully trained and likes his head tickled every morning. With the lights on it’s play time and banging the lid for attention!

A great looking fish to be sure.

To answer the OP's question, I tend to feed both Hikari and NLS, but more NLS lately because of the ingredient list of Hikari (fish meal, corn, yeast, gluten as the first listings kinda bums me out).

Having said that, I've never really had issues with Hikari and my fish have actually seemed to like it more. They often spit out NLS at first.
