Food for Midas cichlid

Really nice fish but that's not a Midas, but a hybrid.
Op, those two brands are quite reputable, can't go wrong. Just depends what your fish prefers. Mine eat everything.
We thought he was a hybrid because he is more a strawberry orange. Probably because he’s a fussy sod and mainly eats bloodworm. I’ve tried cichlid gold pellets and he attitude is to grab a few come up to the glass and spit them at the glass in protest. He eats his greens, bloodworm, discus frozen cubes. Beef heart as an occasional treat and feeder shrimp. He’s my third and best Midas. Last owner couldn’t cope with him because he mashed his hand every time he tried to clean his tank, so I said i would have him. Think he appreciates I gave him his own tank, toys and feed and give him the attention he wants. I work from home and sat at my pc each morning is amusing as I’m sat at the table he is watching and all you get the splashing and banging the tank lid till you go and feed him. Have a fuss time with a head tickle and he’s fine for a couple of hrs. He is like a spoilt child that has too much attitude!
