    Like the meatballs at IKEA??

I don't eat horse-meat myself, and honestly I'd be upset if I found out I was eating horse meat. In all honesty, I've tried to lower my meat consumption, overall.

    Our fish shipment

As a few of you know, I acquired a job at a local pet store, that specializes in exotic pets, including fish recently. As I am the only person there who deals with the fish, I thought I'd share a few of the items I decided to order for us, along with pictures! They've been selling fast! We sold...

Anyone ever seen anything like this! Or is it just a clever photoshop trick?

Definitely photoshop. If that were real, it would be one of the most intriguing fish to keep.

    Ornate Bichir???

Yes, they do reach sizes of 27", however 18-24" is much more common in the aquarium. As far as a suitable aquarium size goes, the absolute minimum aquarium they should be housed in, should be 75 gallons. Generally, they're passive towards other fish, but can be aggressive to their own kind...

    Wild Dat Pics

That's pretty cool. It's always interesting to see fish that you have in your aquarium, in their natural habitats.

    I'm back!

Yes, our fish section is relatively new. We keep several common fish, but generally we try to go for the more oddball, and exotic ones. It is extremely annoying that this part of the state doesn't have many decent fish shops, because it is such a highly populated area, compared to other parts of...

    I'm back!

Ahaha! Yes I was! That was a good night. And, yes I did :P You made a thread about it :P Yes, you're right. We specialize in exotic pets, therefore...exotic fish. And, maybe some fancy plecos would be cool :)

Recued a "peacful" community of fish today!

Honestly, I feel as though if you continue to do weekly water changes, and check the water parameters often, they should be fine for the next two weeks. The ideal temperature for these fish, is somewhere around 76-80F. An ideal aquarium that will last them for life, is probably a 20 gallon high...

    I'm back!

Generally, when we purchase such fish, we only purchase 1-3 at the maximum. I live in a relatively decent sized city, so fish do sell surprisingly fast. We sell ours for $39.99 :P Thank you :) Haha, we have toonnnsss of those. $2.99 for the 3" and $5.99 for the 5". Thank you...

    I'm back!

Yeah, these are the fish that I'll most likely be stocking the store with. Yeah, you're right. Hahaha, honestly I think we'll only order a few of each species. Maybe we'll develop a niche?

    I'm back!

Hey, It's been a long time since I came around, but here I am! I'm not sure if any of you actually remember me well or not, but who knows? A lot has happened this past year, or so...the most notable thing I'd like to share with you guys, is that I recently acquired a job with a relatively...

can i mix these species ?

You probably could, but the fish would need to be adult size, and you'd need a very large aquarium. How large of an aquarium are you planning?

    Which Fish Should I Breed?

German Blue Rams would be much easier to breed than rainbowfish.

    two plecos in a 55g ???

Personally, a 13 inch pleco is too large for a 55 gallon aquarium. I've saw people who have kept them in aquariums of that size, but to live a happy life, it'd be best to place it in your 90 gallon.

    Tokay Gecko

I've always wanted one of them. How hard are they to keep?
