My new Malaysian Golden Bluebase Crossback

At first, I thought he's the "ugly duckling". Compared to his (a little) bigger sister, he took longer to develop his nice Thousand Island spotting, but as of late (last 1-2 months), he's been getting more and more spots. I'm pretty sure in another 4-6 months he'll be a stunner too.

It's usually not that they don't have the guts to euthanize such a fish. It's money and money only. Some people pay big bucks for a deformed Arowana. There sadly is a market for such fish and thats the only reason they're not getting culled.
