That might work it might not dose the water with it and add espom salt. I would recommend injecting the medicine into the stomach. After they have stopped eating it is harder to cure

My kamfa doesn't mind. He'll even do circles around my hand. My kk is a @$$, he'll let me touch his head after that he goes berserk and attack. Water changes are basically a war zone....... It's worse if you try to shoo him away.

Could be the heat, they like it high. Keep them at around 29-30° maybe that will help. I would gradually increase the heat over a few days/ week.

Looks like a barb sting to me. Probably would have died if the catfish was logged in the throat by now, or spat it out.

I keep them with sand substrate, wood and maybe a rock or 2. Plants just become chew toys, wood for tannins and rocks for something to hide behind If if they are stressed. I like to use the sand since they like to dig, I do not recommend grave since it traps detritus.

Is the wood spongy to the touch. Could you poke holes in it farly asy if u tried with a finger nail or something alone those lines
