    Stingray tank height

That seems a bit shallow since rays tend to like to "climb" up in the sides of tanks. Usually you'll see rays kept in tanks 24" (61cm) or taller so they can stretch their entire disk up the side. The species of rays will make a difference.

Very likely then, Andrew does a lot of Koi that are incredibly colorful, but he's excited to do something a bit different. I basically gave him full creative control with just a few guidelines. And yes, I'm in Cedar Rapids. Where are you located since I assume it's in the region?

I believe there's somewhere around 70 hours worth of work now, I've kinda lost track. The phoenix was completely freehand as well as a tree of life by the same artist on the other arm. I also was able to get a small piece from Enigma when he was staying with my friend who owns the shop.

Foam Art Board for bottom of tank

I haven't noticed any issues with mine and actually forgot I even had it until this thread reminded me. My sand is deep enough that none of the stock has dug deep enough to uncover it.

Foam Art Board for bottom of tank

If you put some eggcrate on the bottom first then it will diffuse the weight of the rocks and avoid any pressure points. Once you add sand you can't tell it's there at all.
