I am looking into buying a tank soon. I sold all my tanks over the past few years, including my most recent 265g about a year ago, maybe closer to two years since I had one running. I am looking into a 300g tank. I used two fx5 filters on my 265g and was thinking more like three fx6 filters...- jiant2520

Festae aggression
My male was the boss of my old stock, but he was def not a "killer" at all. I don't have him anymore, but the small female I have is by far the smallest in my tank and she is very aggressive... more so then my male ever was. Most people I know and talk to will say the females are more aggressive...- jiant2520

Most interesting or interactive cichlid
Other than Oscars, I say all of the Midas I've kept. They were/are very very personable. Also, my Bocourti that I have now is one of the most interactive fish I have ever kept too!!- jiant2520

Do CA cichlids really need caves?
Def not a requirement, but they can help, be a hindrance or not matter at all, depending on your tank size and individual fish.- jiant2520
