Hiya, I found a lovely Red Texas Cichlid available. I have a tank but it does have some plants. Just anubias, java fern, moss and some floating plants.
I've kept flowerhorns and I've heard red texas are similar to them. Does that mean they're also destructive with plants?

I have this Red Texas cichlid (Blood Parrot x Texas) and I can't tell if it's female or male. It's 7 inches in size and no nuchal hump. So I'm pretty certain it must be female but thought I'd post here and ask around anyway.
