Its worth a shot but the deeper water won't make it stay warmer. There are many fish in your list that can survive anyways in florida. I would get rid of the oscars, they wouldn't make it a year. I would also ditch the paddlefish since they require moving water to feed.

Most of these fish can be found in Miami's canals.

Yeah, I to call bs. And low 60's...still to cold for the fish mentioned. How about filtration on the pond?

If you read My other thread a while back about building a pond that explains how it started. The idea started because I'm tired of going to my other pond and seeing bluegill and bass and I wanted a pond with my fish I wanted and to expand my fish keeping. You never know I might even get some spawns from my bass or arapaima and make some serious cash off them : ^)
