Hmmm. I like the pond, but it doesn't look recently constructed to me.

Vegetation around the perimeter is not flattened or disturbed. No chunks of mud / rocks , uneven areas from overspill when filling trucks with backhoe. Back hoes make a mess, no tracks in surrounding vegetation, no road packed into the vegetation from trucks hauling dirt.

While it might be true, and if so I wish you luck on an awesome project, people will be skeptical when this, and your statement that it was dug by hand, then used a crane, now a backhoe, don't add up.

If this is indeed your property and project, I'm looking forward to watching this move forward.

Good luck.

I agree

Ya the equipment would have destroyed the parameter, and there would be a substantial amount of fill
To deal with, can we get some shots of the dump site? Did you use a dozer
To spread it or just dump it?and what type of back how did you use?no small hoe would get in and out of a ten foot hole, don't mean to doubt you,but like I said I work for an excavating company

No before/after pictures???
Why is there no sign of work, it looks like it's established/been there for quite awhile.
No filtration?
Are you sure that's Florida?

Who cares if you can't see to the ground.. With so many huge fish in there, he will see them a lot, especially when feeding!
A lot of people seem to be jealous here IMO.

I don't think it's jealousy,I can dig a pond on my 10acres anytime,it just seems odd that it dose not look very new and it was done with the neighbours back hoe,no dump trucks? No vegetation is disturbed
Like I made a cake but never used a pan

I wouldnt say jealous. Just suspisous about the whole if it toke 2.5 months to build. Why is there no construction pics of the entire process. Also why does it look to be a pond that wasn't built yesterday . There is no sign of any recent work done plus a backhoe couldn't climb in and out of a ten foot hole. Idk that's just my 2¢ .

Glad you finally posted a video of something. Why can't you do this more often? I'm still a little skeptical though because, as stated above, it looks like a already established pond. I mean there's so much vegetation around it I just don't see how this could be a recently built pond. But, you did come forward with a video. So I will apologize for calling you out on that. But still think this pond was and had been there longer than you Are stating. Good luck with everything.
