01 Prelude SH

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
SRT-4 may be fast, but it's still a neon.
I like the look of the prelude, they have decent performance and they are very reliable. Additionally, there is a ton of aftermarket parts for them. Dont buy an SRT-4 and make me laugh at you :grinno:

I'd never buy an SRT4. I've driven a few of them. Hell, I even had one as a loaner from a dealer that was trying to push a sale for a weekend. Terrible car. Its so cheaply made its almost humorous. It was pretty quick though!

My price range is in the neighborhood of $14k. Obviously less is better. Actually, whoever mentioned the RSXtS, that was another car I was considering. Alot more refined with a much better interior. Finding a low mile vehicle in my price range is key. I just want a quick street car to have some fun with without spending every penny I've got. Anyway, I didn't go to shcool today, so odds are I'll cruise around to some dealerships in the area and check craigslist for used cars.

YOU ARE SO TOTALLY AWESOME!!! I agree!!!! At the end of the day an SRT-4 may be fast-like but it is still a NEON and I will laugh at you 2 if you buy one. ;)

Now as for the RSX-S those are nice cars =) The 01 Prelude are also another nice car. I have friends that own both and love them - needless to say they are decently fast and still a nice daily driver. Another good thing is a Honda/Acura will last you a good 300-400k+ miles if you take care of it properly. I never checked into the price, but what about a TSX? I dunno it doesnt look as sports like as the RSX but its a nice looking car. I know in a few months I'll be in the market for a 2000 Integra GS-R they run about 7-10k around here with roughtly 50-80k miles. Usually the higher priced ones have like 30-40k miles on them. They are nice also.

I've been around the Dub/Audi scene for a few months now and realize one thing. I'll never own either, unless its an S4 wagon or RS4.
