:ROFL: yeah w/o a blast of light, youd get a pitch black image. the speedlight is a must. and by using these settings, you get a nice depth of field with the small aperture, super sharp because of the fast shutter speed, and great image quality because of the low ISO.

impossible to do without a speedlight. unless you have 10,000 watts of metal halide lighting hahah
 
Hey, I submitted a photo also...it looks almost the same but with a fish:naughty:

i am going to order an sb 600 off of ebay soon, i just need to find the right one
