The atmosphere was pretty good, (not as crazy as it was when I went to the home opener this year :grinno:) but it is the end of the season, and we got the 2 seed locked up, so it's not nuts like it normally is. It was a little sloppy, but we had our whole bench in, the more minutes we can give Stuckey the better, he's looking like a great draft pick, and even Afflalo is getting better with more time. Bosh was great, he is a very good player, I just don't know if he'll fit with how they're building that team up there.

I feel the same way..i hate how the lakers were bounced by the suns, and duhntoni talking smack about the lakers and how after a blowout loss to the lakers early in this season said that come playoff time they'd bounce the lakers again as usual, well the world has turned and now we got home court advantage, so just like you to eliminate the suns would be the icing on the championship cake..Go Lakers!!! mamba for MVP

I'm not gonna call for the upset, but if I were the Lakers, I wouldn't be looking forward to a series with the Suns. Just because of the Kobe vs. Shaq thing, that the media would hype (and love 7 games if you know what I mean;) wink wink) and the fact that the game does slow down in the playoffs, and while Gasol has experience in big games, he doesn't have NBA big game experience, and Shaq does.

Ditto. As much as I think the Shaq move was stupid, I see him laying it out against the Lakers in the playoffs. The crazy thing is ANY team in the Western playoffs could theoretically win that conference. (with Denver being a straggler). I mean, only 7 games from top to bottom, all with 50 win seasons. My favs, however, are New Orleans, Los Angeles, Utah. As far as the East goes, the only teams that even matter are Boston, Detroit, Orlando, so there's not much discussion there.

I actually see SA bounced in the 1st round. They should be playing Phoenix. If you go by the season series' 1st round would look like...(right now)

LA bouncing Denver easily
NO squeaking Dallas
Phoenix beating SA
Utah/Houston split.....my pick Utah

In the East, every series is a split, with the exception of Boston killing Atlanta. I'm ready for 40 games in 40 nights!!!
 
Ok, I don't know if anyone else has seen the Kobe commercial of him jumping over an Aston Martin driving at him.....CRAZY.......then he just "admitted" on PTI it wasn't real......what a letdown......:(

I'm actually looking forward to the Boston ATL series, 1. because I called for Atl to make the playoffs before the year started :naughty:, and 2. because I want Boston to be TIRED when we (hopefully) see them in the East finals. And while I don't necessarily think Atl will beat them, if anybody has seen them play this year they know, they are actually a pretty tough team to match up with because they have so many of those "hybrid" build guys, amd I hope that they can run around the "old" guys on Boston just long enough for them to start tireing a little, before they gotta go play LeBron.

Have seen it, no way I thought that was real though, the Lakers would never let him do that, and I'm sure it would be a breach of contract for him to willingly have some drive a car at him!

That was exactly what I thought. I personally didn't beleive it, but it was a pretty cool commercial though. I was just waiting for the admittance, and just happened to be watching when he did.
