Yeah seriously. Although it has been much better lately. When Obanga took office it was almost impossible to find ammo in stock, and the prices were ridiculous. Now I can find boxes of .223 or 5.56 at about $6 a box at most gun stores and Walmarts. I can live with that price :)

Nice man. I love MP5s. You gotta post up some pics soon! I'd love to build an AR in 7.62x51 next, but the damn lower receivers are so expensive compared to a 5.56 lower!

And I got to take her out this weekend. Very fun to shoot an AR with some nice glass :)

Looks nice! You still have your original upper as well, right? I'm overdue for a new upper receiver assembly, lol!
 
I have the same "Zombie Killer" ejector port cover sitting on a shelf waiting for my build!
 
Are you reloading yet ? I have some good load data if you need it. Save that brass, if you knew the work involved in making it you would soil yourself lol .....I worked as the machine shop forman for this place for 5 years http://www.jamisoninternational.com/
 
Thanks guys. I ended up selling the upper to a friend since he was just building one. I needed the funds for the new upper. I spent an additional $1k in parts, not counting the new upper!

And I have been saving all my brass, but haven't even began to look into reloading. Maybe that can be a new hobby one of these days :)

I'd have to get a whole new upper assembly, and there aren't too many options for left-handed shooter. Stag makes a few, but I don't like their parts. I'm so used to it though, it would almost seem weird having a left-handed upper!
