idk if it was just me, but the water looks pretty dirty

looks clean to me.... what you see are tannins from the driftwood.. cichla crack!

I love the setup Aquarium Adv. in Hoffman Estates has. There fish can be pricy though. What size tank did you grow yours out in and what did you pay for the lil guys? Good looking fish though.

i only have only been to bolling brook one but i go there like every week at least once.
they have a nice saltwater display tank and a saltwater pond with a shark and stingray in it.
aq. ad. is pricey for alot of things but i got the lil guys for under $10 cuz i have life time fish club membership. i grew out my pbass in a 29gallon till they were about 6inches cuz it took me longer than i thought to set up my 210.
