  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Is there a generator in the plan. You may have some frozen fish if you get a good power outage. I know in upstate New York some freezing rain can knock power out for a while.

I had to take some time off.. Twisted my ankle pretty well.. no break, but the ligaments & tendons have seen better days.. rehab till January, then perhaps surgery. Here is a couple shots, should be back on track soon, I hope..

Just a quick update, not too much... the world was not as kind as I had wished..
The lounge room walls are up, painted & 'pretty'. Electrical is all run & hot.

Some ceiling materials were purchased & work on it will begin in the evenings & weekends. (a couple weeks out) then the floor.. I have 3 bathrooms in the house that all decided to have the tile floors crumble so again another project takes the lead..

I also believe I will need to cut a bed in the floor & re-pour concrete for a thicker base, thats gonna be fun...

Look at it as an opportunity. Depending on how you build your tank, you could run bottom drains off the tank, and this will let you put the plumbing in the concrete, allowing the tank to sit lower than if you had to build it on a stand to run the plumbing underneath it.

Can't wait to see some progress pictures, it's been a long time since we've had any updates!

Awesome... wish my kids like the fish as much as me. I have 3 29 gals running and that qualifies me as the crazy fish guy. Jesus if they even once looked at any of the build here. :)

Is the son still helping out?
