8 months since last update :(

Sorry for the delay, but there were some money flow issues. The room wasn't even being worked on for many months.. Here is a pic of the room, as it is now .. The red line is about where the tank will be

basement came out real nice can wait till you start on the tank. Seeing the results you achieved on the rest I am sure it will be a beautifull setup

I just scored this 120 from the sister of my ex neighbor. I know the big tank wont be done in time for my daughters graduation party, and I need to have something in the wall.

I have way too much going on at the moment, Roof leaked front wall of living room needs to be replaced, ceiling, possibly even the wall studs ARGH !!!!! Guy poked a hole in my garage door while grading the driveway for a new surface (lets see what happens when that call is made)

Will start a new thread for the 120 In-Wall, stand, filter etc.. Then get back to this after I finish rebuilding the living room wall, and the floor and transom of my boat.

(The apparent bow in the glass is from the camera)

sorry to hear about the leaking roof. on a good note you dont already have a hole in the wall were the tank was going to go right.

True, I framed in for the opening, but dry-walled completely, so changing the size will not be an issue, nor will making the hole bigger later on..

This is a good idea with this 120 gallon back up plan.

This happens a lot with model railroading in that I have tried to build a 40 story HO scale skyscraper at home but I ran into the proberm of trying to find enough of the type of HO scale kit that I was going to kit bash to make the 40 story skycraper so I ended up with a seven story tall building that at a later date when more suppies come about I could always start enlarging it into a larger and taller building with more stories.
