  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
That is sweet. Id kill for that tank. Id throw an Armatus in there and some rays! See if I can grow one of the legendary 30+inch armatus payara

what part of NC?

MFK'n it in the fish store?

you'll never see that here in edmonton.

well, BIG AL's has a gigantic marine shark tank thingy, it's pretty sick.
some 3'-4' sharks swimming around in there, all in one direction!

well actually, 4' is a little big.
probably like 2.5'-3'

Nice LFS...

And that is a stunning tank....

One day I will own something like that... one day :)

i like the message they are sending with the pacu's though. that should help with people who intend on throwing them in a 10g tank. i too would decorate it ALOT more and throw some p bass in there. but i like how they have 3 of the most common fish that get huge that people think they can throw them in a 55g.

great point. however you know theres still those people out there who will swear their pacu or RTC wont get that big, no matter if the ones at the store weigh as much as an 8 year old child, and are 2-3 ft long

It's a good looking tank. I really like the story behind the fish in it. Something like that is very educational for people who are thinking about buying that cute little pacu or red tail cat.

I've been there a couple times. You're right, the employees are very friendly and the prices aren't bad either. However I don't like the bright green, pink and orange gravel they use in their FW tanks..

One of my lfs has a selection of large display tanks, 2 of which are that size. 0ne has just a very large rtc in it which always looked like it was missing something to me, the one on here definatly looks a lot better cause of the Pacu and Aro in there too. The other one they filled with plants and little tetras and corys etc which just seemed like a waste to me (especially when they have large rtcxtsn, pangasius, and pacu hidden out back!) I'll try and see if i have any pictures when i get home. Not sure on the dimensions of their other display tanks, but they look to be 6' deep but as long or wide. Not sure about the overflow in the middle:confused:
