$1,000 Shrimp?

1k is purely overpriced. The seller seems conscious with the pricing. No one can buy shrimps at that price.

I think A to C Grade shrimp are more beautiful than those SSS grade which I think is just too plain and whitewashed.

i wouldnt be surprised if they were actually 1k .... cuz i know japanese loves those shrimps.... and ive heard the more white that covers the shrimp represents higher grade.... mebe tis IS a really high quality shrimp ...
shrimps r very delicate, some people value em higher, some dont : )
and the seller is from hk, for those of u that dont know( or used to big things in US), most hk peeps dont have big house, so they cant have monster tank, so owning something rare mite not be stuff such as widebars and tigrinis and huge tanks and stuff, but instead they spend their money on small delicate shrimps that they can fit in their homes...
just another form of ]V[onsterness : )

Agreed!!!! You can make 90$ more than what you bought 1 shrimp for.

I do agree that is a crazy price, but a LOT of breeding goes into these, and they are GREAT quality.
For those of you who spend that much on dogs or fish, have no room to talk..
