(1) 180 gallon setup vs. (3) 75/90 gallon wet pet setups?

get the 180!!! my four footers just sit empty now since getting it if anything fails you can just sperate and try again

I had a chance to get a 180 dirt cheap a little over a year ago, and blew it. Now, I want another chance to get a 180 or even a 220. But all of them that are being sold right now are just too far out of my price range. Think I'm not kicking myself for taking the 180 I could have gotten a year ago now? I am regularly telling myself how stupid I am.

Moral?

Don't be me! Be smart! LOL...

Question... the one I'm looking at is a 180 tall... so it's 6 x 1.5 x 2.5. Would being tall vs. wide have an effect on the mannerisms of the fish? Granted, I understand that it really depends on the fish but I think I've heard that the 6x2x2 is usually preferred for large, aggressive fish.

With a choice of tanks with the same amount of gallons its better to go longer and/or wider as opposed to taller...better oxygen exchange... And depending on the species they're not going to necessarily use the extra height as opposed to extra length or width but either way if you can get the 180
