Dirt and a houseplant.

Or shrimp.

plants and ghost shrimp is all I can think of. A lot of people would put bettas in there...

I don't think bettas deserve this type of housing. IMO, replace them with larger bowls or better yet, 5g tanks.

I agree completely. I did not intend to sound like that was a good idea. Looking back at the post it looks that way. A betta needs a 10 gallon IMO. My rescued betta (Living in a clear cup in my little sisters classroom when I went to go pick her up. I tripped out and ended up leaving with the betta lol noone saw ....:) He is in a 10 gallon now with a sponge filter and tons and tons of bamboo plants which I think help filtration and I rotate some females through but he just seems to want to beat them up. :screwy:

lol put some plants and one guppy, or some pretty shrimp hahah

how many ghost shrimp could i put in it and what kind of plants would be good for it?

Even ghost shrimp can't handle ammonia. So if you will do daily water changes around 30-50%. And put some cycled gravel or sand in the bottom. I would think you could probably do 5 shrimp. I would get some bamboo for plants.

i would do water changes everyday. its what i have to do for my bettas so its just 2 more to add to it :)

Not worth to stock any fish or ghost shrimp in bowl....its too much hassles for you.
