1/4in acrylic on a 90g?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
worst case scenario:
90g of water on floor
filters overheat from lack of water and catch on fire
the fire doesn't ignite the carpet(it's too wet) but the walls start to smolder
house burns down.

I live in a brick house so it would take a while to set on fire...hmm i wont risk it,ill just use 3/8 in.

:screwy: Inside is still sticks.. Yeah I would go bigger. 3/8 sounds better.
Not in Mexico (jalisco) its all brick/adobe. Im going with 3/8 since i dont want 90 gallons of water on my floor lol.

Worse case with new info.

Tank breaks, 90g of water on floor, dissolves wall at bottom, roof tilts and whole house caves in.

Good thinking going with the 3/8" :D

Not to mention your fish!

I'm going to Jalisco in two weeks, South of P.V. in Mismaloya. My uncle owns a condo there so we go a couple times a year. I've been to Guadalajara a couple times, too. What kind of fish are available there?

mostly central and south american fish. The fish here a verry cheap compared to the states. Rectics (6 in disk and up) are like 25$ american here.
