Gold gene dempsey are not common, just look for a gold dempsey if you want to work on this project. There are a couple breeders here in SoCal who breed them, so you can hit up BabyBetta and Becca3766 to see if they have any golds or gold genes available.

I'll keep the updates coming, they seem to be growing well at 85f, not sure if i should scale it back a bit. They eat A LOT! They pig out so much they look like oscars.

My bumble bees are the same way. They just keep eating. They will even come up to the top and nibble your finger if you put it in the tank
