1,500 & 125gallon tank

1st tank: 1,500gallon+

-1 Silver Arowana
-1 Tiger Shovelnose Catfish
-1 Lima Shovelnose Catfish
-1 Iridescent Shark (albino)
-1 Clown Knife Fish
-1 Red Bellied Pacu
-1 Tiger Oscar


2nd tank: 125gallons

-1 Delhezi Bichir
-1 Weeksi Bichir
-1 Fire Eel
-1 Ornate Chaca Chaca Catfish
-1 Barracuda Hujeta

i think the payara is for the next time...
as for the spotted gar and leopoldi stingray...we'll see what i can do...(they will be in the 1st tank; that is if can get ahold of them!)

oh; and some people say that the lima shovelnose catfish and tiger oscar will be eaten by some of the bigger fish. is this possible?
anyway i can prevent that?
like buying them at different times so the oscar is big but not too big so it won't eat the other fish, but not too small so it won't be eaten!

oh; and i'm going to get the 1st tank later on...when i get experienced with tropical fish so, i'm going to start with tank #2.

and one more thing; anywhere i can get black pacus?? are they endangered?

For a 1500 gallon tank, I would put some gars, bichirs, arapaima, Nile perch, barramundi, temensis tocantins. I mean BIG FISH. But that's just me. What's the dimensions of this tank?

in my opinion pirarucus get way TOO BIG for 1,500gallons; i would say aminimum 30,000gallon for it to be happy. actually a pond will be better!

gars are illegal in my state.

Hey Kento, I'm up here in Sac. Are ALL gar illegal in Cali? I swear I see needle nose gar all the time at my LFS. Are needle nose the exception to the law?

and harpo garza, needle nose are not TRUE gars so they are LEGAL.
tru gars are illegal, such as; tropical, spotted, alligator, longnose, shortnose, etc.

and gooda; ur lucky u get to keep spotted gars!
and definantly u can keep 3arowanas in a 1,200gallon tank!
its 1200 right? not 120gallon...
