oh by the way, how do you make that voting thing for your thread?

No offense, but are all of these just "dreams"? Do you actually have "a tank"? or what are we doing? Shouldn't planning come into play when you actually have the tank? I mean, if you don't have the tank "yet", you should be working on getting the tank first before you can add fish into it. Because adding fish is the easy part. Getting the tank, well that is a different story. How are you going to go about getting a 125 gallon tank? How would you go about getting a 1500+ plus tank? Nothing wrong about dreaming, but I also like to be realistic. But I guess everyone in here is just wasting their time suggesting what fish to keep when in fact, there is no place to put it? Someone put me in the know here. :screwy:

I just got done setting up my 240, and I already know what is going into it. This 240gal tank I found in the recycler for $200 bux. Yes it is acrylic. I would have room for a 10000 gallon tank, but i would have to get rid of all the other tanks I have in my garage. Total tanks I have is around 11 because I couldn't count my propagation tank. This is your typical "fish store" design with dividers making it more flexible to keep mean fish, etc...

Aye yi yi ! I know pretty much what I want, and what to do with it. Fo' sho" :)

just to let you know VINCE...
these aren't dream tanks, as soon as i get my grades up, i'll have time to take care of the tanks so i can get the tanks in a instant!!
but the 2000gallon+ will not be in my house for a looooong time...i need to be a wee bit experienced with tropical fish keeping.(i never kept any before...)

so these people are not wasting their times giving me suggestions.(i'm not like that SHARKHUNTER kid)
they are valuable resources for me, so i don't screw up once i get the tank.
i don't want to be those quitter hobbyist that buy a tank, put a fish in it, and a few days later all the fish die, so they quit the hobby.

and please VINCE...please don't talk like ARMAC, now i need to go to my training room and go hit and kick the punching bags. :wall:
everytime i hear that name, i get pissed :angryfire

please, don't talk like that again.
and good luck wit yo 240gallon tank!

so which option do you preffer?

Vince just bear with the little "WISHER" he wants a lot and has nothing. All his advice is strictly regurgitating info from the internet.

His signature is a dream, so dream on Peptobismol:thumbsup:

ARMAC u shld go chek dA oTHeR exotic animal page!
u can see my birds!!

i think this is the BIRD VERSION of the "building the 50,000gallon mega tank"

Option #3 :I say you go for a 20g long planted tank and put 5 ghost shrimp in it. This is probably the most realistic choice you have so far, goodluck.

Well, I was gonna say "What does Armac had to do with my post?"

Anyway, I have no quarrel with anyone, but I am just wondering where this is going to? I mean, there's gotta be so much redundant information, that this has gone around and around. Dreaming in circles. How long has this been going on? I thought about adding a 240 for a couple of weeks, but couldn't come up with the cash for a new one. Used a few resources without asking everyone in my neighborhood, and voila. An opportunity comes along, and I got it for a very affordable price. But like I said in my post, "no offense". I hope the answer would've been "none taken". Instead Armac gets drag into something he is not even involved with. Anyway, I apologized if I became too harsh. Just wanted to just voice out my observation.
