My pride and joy, the inspiartion behind it all....Gandalf!!!

His story is one of the happy ones in a pond of so many sad. Since he graced me and my home three years ago my interest and passion for the species has only grown. I got him from my LFS as a baby. He was very young, having just absorbed his yolk sack. I know the survival rate at that age is low but he never in all this time has ever shown weakness. He has been my friend and constant in an ever changing world. I hope his beauty and grace helps to remind us all that every life is important and that all the wisdom of the world can be found in the eyes of a Silver.

Easily one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Beautiful set up.

That is amazing that you swimming with them? Id love to do that. Poor guys had such a sad life until you saved them. I swear if I ever got the money to do what you have done thats the first thing Id do. I said to my fav lfs "You know If I win the lotto im commin back and buyin this 1000 gal tank and saving fish right?" I would love to save fish. So many people dont think of fish as creatures who need help. I couldnt tell you how many times Ive heard "well hey they are just fish" There needs to be more people like you my friend!!! yet again excellent videos!

Thanks to everyone for taking the time to look. It has been an amazing journey thus far, and our efforts will only continue to grow as time passes. We appreciate all of the comments.

He's a big boy... Over a foot. Probably 14 inches or so. He's ridiculously thick.
