There is your problem!
While I would not, personally, pin a definite name on most unidentified Aulonocara, Copadichromis or Otopharynx females unless their physical characteristics were absolutely unique to their species and/or I had a pHD in ichthyology lying around to boost my confidense

- you can't say for sure just by looking at them.
You'll find pictures which conflict with eachother floating around on the internet. If you look at the O. tetraspilus at
this site - which is by most counts very reputable but not without it's mistakes, it would conflict with the picture you found of "O. tetraspilus" off a search engine. Interestingly the search engine picture looks very similar to the elusive true
Otopharynx ovatus (aka Copadichromis ovatus) with the small "dashed" spots and more than likely
is.
Here you can look through both genera yourself and see what comes up, unfortunately they do not have pictures of O. tetraspilus. This site IMO is the most reliable in relation to Malawi cichlids.
And then there's
this little beauty of an atlas. If you want to go crazy finding females of all sorts of names and species go right a head.
You may walk away from the whole thing pulling your hair and just dubbing your little darling the Mystery Maiden.
