1 canistor 3 tanks?

good call! that way you can do a wet dry cause it's probably your only real viable option

I looked up the FX5 and I couldn't find anywhere where it said that it has multi tank capabilities. Just sounds like a basic canister filter only bigger and with some cool added features.

thats what i thought too didnt remember seeing anything like that on the verts i read still think its a toy
 
Oh well, we tried. Good luck figuring something out. Any ideas now that we've killed the canister method? wet dry? As Peter Griffen once said, "Cooooommmmmeeee Oooooooooonnn" hahahah
 
Most people would drill a hole in each tank and put bulkhead in them to join the 3 tanks together or you can just use hang on overflow box with a wet/dry system.

thahts the idea now does the bulkhead have to be bigger then the canistor pipeing or the same diamter
