1" Dat growout "contest"

Here is the double split bar from JD7.62 that now lives in JD_mans tank

nice indo rally. he looks great. mine is so stable i swear i wish he was already 5" so i could toss him in the main community. he eats full size fd krill and cut up shrimp. 5 months of growing darnit and im coming upon 3" maybe a tad more

thats like .5" per month lol

Sounds about like the growth on mine. It is a lot easier to feed them now that they are able to eat the full size frozen krill.

I keep hoping that their growth starts picking up a little more. I am getting tired of growing fish out. First it was clown loaches, now dats. :nilly:
 
A few more pics of the 2 dats that ewurm brought down a month ago.

The one dat's stomach is about explode and the other one, that is in a snow storm, has an awesome pattern.

I thought my dats stomach were big but that ones is HUGE.
What do you feed them?

I think that he was eating frozen brine shrimp that day. I've got a bunch of dats to feed and the smallest one seems to get the most food. lol. His bar is stretched to the max.
