1" Dovii fry hiding constantly

I always remove all of the decorations in my smallest grow out tanks. Can't hide when there are no hiding places. Usually the fish warm up in a couple days after they get used to the routine. I have never done this with 4 Doviis though, I'd assume the lack of places to retreat could result in a bloodbath.

Haha that would be because that is a plastic t-rex. I picked up these Dovii as a pet project at the fish store I work at. I will be keeping track of these guys as they grow out and trying to remind my coworkers to feed them extra! This was the only open tank we had so that I could separate the dovii from the other small cichlids and it just happened to be the tank with bright yellow gravel and t-rex decorations!
