I got 10 pbass from Wes a few months back, 5 kelberi and 5 orino, at 1"-1.5". One was DOA and one by one I've lost another 8 over 2 -3 weeks, could be due to high nitrates 50-100 ppm.

This is lone survivor but IDK which kind of the two. Currently about 2.5"-3".

It is also funny that its right hand side shows three black spots whilst the left side is missing the middle spot (it's faint). Has anyone seen this before? Does this mean anything?

The spots behind the eyes suggest orino to me and I actually have a kelberi that has only two spots on one side and three on the other.

Thanks guys.

Forgot to mention that the 8 I had lost were all happily and vigorously eating their fill of freeze-dried bloodworms and kicking the bucket the next day or sometimes even the same day.

Its an Orino, and a good looking one at that. Bass are extremely sensitive at that size, very easy to lose them.
Thank you fellas again. I need to learn a lot about pbass.

Hmm.... that's strange, I've never had an issue feeding them bloodworms. That's what I use to help pellet train.

Naively, I was not blaming the bloodworms. Raised many fish on this particular 1 gallon jar full. What's strange to me is the superb appetite and quick demise. Kind of hints towards my elevated nitrates again. But I've no knowledge base.

That's an orino in the video. Dose prazipro, possibly came in with internal parasites

Thank you so much, all.

Are you thinking in general or something about this fish made you think so? The odd left and right hand side spotting?
