1 FX5 on a 125?

Can I get away with just having 1 FX5 on my freshwater planted 125 gallon?

I have prefilter and scrubbies in the top tray, and biomax in the bottom two.

I want to take away the hang on back emperor 400 to reduce surface agitation because I'm going to try CO2.

I've got only one FX5 on my 125. I also have 2 Koralias on it for additional water movement. I've had this set up for several years with no problems.

Are koralias powerheads? I'll be running 1 or 2.

Yes, in my opinion, they're one of the best power heads out there.

And if I did this should the intake stay in the middle? Or should I put it in the left corner? The return will be in the upper right corner either way.

1 fx5 should be enough but hey!
i like to over filter because ya never know
i have 3 fx5s on my 180 + more filters lol
id do the fx5+ a ac70 or ac110 just incase

on my 125 SA cichlid setup i have an fx5, eheim 2217 and cascade 700 works flawless.. just redundancy central over here
go for it! def. put intake in one corner and return in other.
