$1/Gallon at Petco

Just sharing some information, petco is having their $1 per gallon sale.
just picked up a 40g breeder for $40.

This is at petcos in Northern VA, don't know about other places.

Does that carry over if you order a larger tank? I'm assuming it's in store tanks only.

You found a breeder tank at Petco, really? I have never seen one at either of the 2 Petco's by me. Wtf.

Im not 100% sure, but typically I believe this $1 per gallon is good up to 75g tanks. My Petco in Hagerstown, Md has breeder tanks also. Also, this Petco has better quality of fish and healthier fish than the 2 Petsmarts around the same area.

Nah, there's a size limit, i can't remember what, i think it's 55 gallon but i don't remember for sure.


OP, thanks for the heads up. Petco needs to actually advertise stuff like this, i always hear about it from other people, sometimes too late.

Hmm my 55 busted a seam last week, may be easier to buy another one than fix the seal, I already have everything needed to seal it except time lol

Petco by me did this a month or two ago... so did a google search an it looks like it started today! an ends 9-18-10. Only on aquarium sizes 10,20L,20H,29,40B,55 gallon, i'll stright up ninja kick an old lady for a 40B

The biggest here was 40 breeders I went a few hours after the sale started and they were all gone

my store here doesn't stock 55s.
